Overcome acne on the body

Acne on the body may appear during youth as well as adult years, often appear on the chest, back and buttocks. Like facial acne, stress and hormones may cause stains. However, other factors may cause the lesions caused by acne.



Sweat and tight clothes on the body are the two most common causes, which explain why many physically active women have acne on the body. Stubborn acne is usually treated with vitamin A or antibiotics such as tetracycline. It can take between one week and several months to obtain a satisfactory result.
